Thank you for joining us at the 2025 Iowa State Fair!
The University of Northern Iowa booth at the Iowa State Fair each year offers a plethora of opportunities to Panther fans, both old and new. Alumni can reconnect with the university, those interested in attending can find out more about UNI’s programs, sports fans can grab a poster or fall schedule, and everyone can learn more about the exciting things happening at UNI. And don’t forget to grab some new UNI gear from the UNI Bookstore while you’re there.

UNI's Exhibit
There are a few things you can count on in the UNI booth. You can grab a photo with TC, pick up some new Panther gear or snag some posters for your home or classroom. And don’t forget your temporary tattoo! But there is also always something new and exciting. So find us in the Varied Industries Building from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the fair.

Thursday, Aug. 7
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – Visit with an Admissions representative
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Join UNI's College of Education to celebrate the special educators in your life!
11 a.m. and 2 p.m. – Meet TC and TK Panther!
Friday, Aug. 8
9 a.m. - noon – Visit with UNI President Dr. Mark Nook
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Swing by for a quick health screening from UNI Nursing students and faculty.
3 p.m. – Meet TC and TK Panther!
Saturday, Aug. 9
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – Visit with an Admissions representative

10 a.m. - 6 p.m. – Learn how Business and Community Services supports small businesses in all 99 Iowa Counties and try your hand at painting TC on our industrial paint simulator.
Wednesday, Aug. 13
10 a.m. - 3 p.m. – Visit with an Admissions representative
Thursday, Aug. 14
8 a.m. – Join UNI Athletic Director Megan Franklin as well as coaches and staff for breakfast at Cattlemen's Beef Quarters. UNI alum and sculptor of the famous state fair Butter Cow will be a guest speaker. Additional details and registration can be found here.
10 - 11 a.m. – Visit with Men's Basketball Coach Ben Jacobson.
10 a.m. - noon – Meet members of UNI's Cheer team!
11 a.m. – Meet TC and TK Panther!
11 a.m. - 1 p.m. – Athletic Director Megan Franklin and Men's Basketball Coach Ben Jacobson will serve as celebrity chefs at the Iowa Pork Tent.
1 - 2 p.m. – Meet Softball coach Ryan Jacobs.
Friday, Aug. 15
10 a.m. - noon – Meet members of UNI's Cheer team!
Saturday, Aug. 16
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. – Meet members of UNI's Cheer team!

Sunday, Aug. 17
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. – STEM Day at the Fair! Visit STEM Services on the fair’s main concourse.

The UNI booth is located in the Varied Industries Building, across the street from the Grandstand (inside the purple box).

Volunteer Registration
Interested in representing UNI at the Iowa State Fair? We’d love to have current students, alumni, employees and friends of the university join us for a few hours to help spread the word about how great UNI is. You will receive an admission ticket to the fair, a shirt to wear during your shift that you can keep, and a great time connecting with Panthers of all ages.
If you’re wanting to volunteer as a group, everyone should fill out the form individually with a note in the “Special instructions/comments” field of who you’d like to work with. Shifts are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
